All Saints’ Episcopal Church (18 Olive

ART GALLERIES
AerieArt Gallery (45½ Lake Avenue and 70

specializing in paintings from the 19th and early 20th centuries, along
with offerings by local artists. The Lake Avenue gallery continues to
feature Delmarva Peninsula Panoramas. The First Street Station gallery
will feature Recurrent Dreams: The Paintings of Edward Grant through the
4th of July weekend.
Amandeline Galleries (403 Rehoboth Avenue;

textures of Russian artist Maya Eventov. Her birch tree pieces and
characteristic “wet look” have become recognizable nationally and
collected internationally.
BASE (Baltimore Avenue Studios En Masse; 20

the Rehoboth Theatre of the Arts building and celebrating their official
Grand Opening, Saturday, June 27 from 6-9 p.m. Featuring artists Michelle
Aquilino, Sherry Biele, Tracy Bollinger, Mary Gaffney, Kim Klabe, Aina
Nergaard-Nammack, Patti Shreeve, Michael Sprouse, Jeffrey Todd Moore, Jack
Wiberg, and June Wright.
Coastal Frameshop and Gallery (4284-B

Mills’ exhibition, Son of Paperworks—a survey of over twenty years of
his mixed-media/collage works on paper including several award-winning
pieces which have been exhibited around the country.
Detail Gallery (54 Baltimore Avenue in
Rehoboth Beach; 302-227-8170; shopdetail.com) featuring a selection of
mixed media artwork from some fabulous artists, including Mary Beth
Ramsey, DeMarquis Johnson, and Sarah Ogren. The Really BIG Mirabelle Show
(inspired by the beloved Detail Gallery Mascot Mirabelle, the Boston
terrier) starts Saturday, July 4 from 3-8 p.m. and through July. Gallery
artists are doing their own interpretations of Mirabelle, which will be on
exhibit and for sale with lots of prizes and great food to raise funds for
the Delaware Humane Association.
Gallery 50 (50-A Wilmington Avenue in
Rehoboth Beach; 302-227-2050; 50contemporaryart.com) presents Photo
One—a group show of six photographers, all with varying styles, who were
asked to present a series of work on a theme of their choosing.
Photographers will include: local photographer Jim Mott, who is known for
the lifeguard series presented last year at the Rehoboth Art League—
Lisa Tyson Ennis (West Chester) Duane Rieder (Pittsburgh), and Kendall
Messick and Phillip Gutman (both of New York City). The show runs through
July 15. Also, The Poodle Beach Coloring Book exhibition by Aurelio
Grisanty continues through July 8.
Heidi Lowe Gallery (328 Rehoboth Avenue in
Rehoboth Beach; 302-227-9203) hosts Earrings Galore featuring earrings
made by studio artists from as far away as Chili and as close as Rehoboth.
The show will be on view throughout the summer.
Peninsula Gallery (520 E. Savannah Rd in
Lewes; 302-645-0551; peninsula-gallery.com) presenting Selected Artisans
and Artists from Delaware By Hand and features Basketry, Ceramics,
Collage, Glass, Jewelry, Painting, Stone and Wood— through June 30.
Delaware By Hand is a formalized way to showcase the talented craftspeople
living and working in Delaware. Visit their website to view all images in
the exhibit.
Philip Morton Gallery (47 Baltimore Avenue,
Rehoboth Beach; 302-727-0905; philipmortongallery.com) through June 25 an
exhibit of renowned Washington, DC and Rehoboth Beach artist Chryssa
Wolfe. That handsome Eric Davison, Director of the Philip Morton Gallery,
stated, “This is one of the most exciting shows we’ve had the
privilege to offer. Chryssa’s work is whimsical in the way it provokes
thought and emotion. There’s wonderful inspiration behind each of her

Rehoboth Art League (12 Dodds Lane in
Henlopen Acres; 302-227-8408; rehobothartleague.org) The 60th Annual
Cottage Tour is coming up! This is one of our region’s oldest cottage
tour events and takes place Tuesday, July 7 and Wednesday, July 8 from 10
a.m.-3 p.m. Sponsored by J. Conn Scott, the tour includes seven
exceptional private homes and the art league’s Homestead, a 1743
colonial home listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Tickets:
$30 per person and can be reserved on their website.
Thunderbird Gallery (200 Rehoboth Avenue in
Rehoboth Beach; 302-227-1900; thunderbirdshop.com) is pleased to represent
artist Thom Millsap, whose acrylic works are specifically of the beach.
His use of color is light-hearted and evokes a certain desire to want to
be where he’s painting. Thom will be doing two one-man shows, the first
from June 26-28 when he will be painting in the gallery.
Ward
Ellinger Gallery (CAMP Rehoboth Courtyard, 39 Baltimore Avenue;
302-227-2710; wardellinger.com) presents Different Strokes, featuring
works by Terry Isner in a collection of pieces showcasing multiple styles
from pen and ink, and charcoal, to acrylic and mixed media through June
26.
